Value Wine of the Week
__________________________________________________
This week's recession wine is from Spain, the source of many tasty bargains. The 2007 Casa Castillo Monastrell Jumilla is a medium-bodied red made from the Monastrell grape (known elsewhere as Mourvedre) in southeastern Spain. Perfectly fruity (think plum, blueberry, and blackberry) with a little spice, it has an unbelievable $8.99 price tag. (You might see the 2005 and 2006 vintages, too; they're just as delish.)
